Supplements and Functional Diagnostic Testing:
Prescribed supplements, natural health products and functional diagnostic lab testing may be recommended. Functional diagnostic testing is often part of a comprehensive health assessment and helps to support a targeted and effective treatment plan. Some lab tests offered include:

Coverage
OHIP currently doesn’t cover any aspect of naturopathic patient treatment. However, most extended health benefit plans do cover the appointment fees and some routine and specialized testing (similar to coverage for dentist and chiropractors). Check your policy for coverage details of services and testing that may be included in your plan. Payment is required for each appointment and receipts are always provided for submission to your insurance company.
